Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 August 2026 · Version 2026-08-15

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Rosheta (روشتة) patient mobile app, related APIs, and websites (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by the Rosheta team in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt, under the trading name Rosheta (روشتة) ("Rosheta," "we," "us," or "our"). Contact: support@rosheta.io.

The patient app is identified as package/bundle com.rosheta.app. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Definitions

Patient or you means an individual who uses the Service to submit a prescription or medicine list and order medicine. Partner Pharmacy means a licensed pharmacy registered on Rosheta to receive requests and submit offers. Order means the transaction created when a Patient accepts a Partner Pharmacy's offer. Content means prescriptions, messages, ratings, and other information submitted through the Service.

2. Eligibility & Your Account

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract. You sign in with your phone number and a one-time verification code. You are responsible for keeping access to that phone number secure and for activity under your account. Notify support@rosheta.io immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Description of the Service

Rosheta operates a marketplace connecting Patients with Partner Pharmacies. The product flow is: you submit a prescription photo or typed medicine list → nearby pharmacies may send time-limited competing offers → you accept an offer → the pharmacy dispenses the medicine → a courier delivers it, paid cash-on-delivery.

Rosheta is not a pharmacy, does not sell or dispense medicine, does not provide medical advice or diagnosis, and does not employ or supervise pharmacists. Each Partner Pharmacy is an independent licensed business solely responsible for the medicine it dispenses, the accuracy of its offer, and compliance with Egyptian pharmaceutical and health regulations.

4. Prescriptions & Medical Disclaimer

The Service is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. You are responsible for ensuring that any prescription or medicine list you submit is accurate, valid, and lawfully issued to you. Partner Pharmacies are responsible for verifying prescriptions and dispensing medicine. Rosheta does not review, approve, or verify the medical content of prescriptions. In a medical emergency, seek emergency care immediately — do not rely on the Service for urgent needs.

5. Offers, Orders & Pricing

Nearby Partner Pharmacies may send competing offers showing medicine price, proposed substitutions, delivery fee, service fee, and estimated delivery time. Offers are set independently and are typically time-limited. By accepting an offer, you enter into an Order with that Partner Pharmacy. Rosheta facilitates the transaction but is not a party to the sale of medicine. Prices, availability, and ETAs are provided by the Partner Pharmacy and may change.

6. Payment

Orders are cash-on-delivery: you pay the courier the total shown (medicine, delivery fee, and service fee) at delivery. Rosheta does not currently process card or online payments in the app. If that changes, these Terms and the Privacy Policy will be updated first.

7. Delivery & Order Tracking

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Service coverage is determined by delivery addresses and nearby pharmacies (Cairo-focused at launch). Once dispatched, you may view the assigned driver's live location. You are responsible for an accurate delivery address and being reasonably available to receive the Order. Rosheta and Partner Pharmacies are not liable for delays caused by inaccurate addresses, unavailability, traffic, weather, or other circumstances outside reasonable control.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel a prescription request before an offer is accepted. After acceptance, cancellation may still be possible before dispatch, subject to Partner Pharmacy confirmation. Because payment is collected on delivery, no refund is due for Orders cancelled before delivery. If medicine does not match the accepted offer or is defective, contact support promptly so we can help resolve the issue with the Partner Pharmacy.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: submit a fraudulent, altered, or invalid prescription; obtain controlled or restricted medicines except as lawfully prescribed; impersonate anyone; interfere with or attempt unauthorized access to the Service; use the Service unlawfully; or harass pharmacies, drivers, or Rosheta staff. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

10. User Content & Ratings

You are responsible for Content you submit and confirm you have the right to submit it. Ratings should be honest. We may remove Content that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is unlawful, abusive, or harmful, and may use aggregated, de-identified feedback to improve the Service.

11. Intellectual Property

The Rosheta name, logo, app, and website (excluding user-submitted Content) are owned by Rosheta or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.

12. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on Firebase Authentication, AWS file storage, mapping services, Sentry, Expo push, and WhatsApp Business. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers' applicable terms. We are not responsible for outages caused by third-party providers outside our control.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted service or that any Partner Pharmacy's offer, ETA, or medicine will meet your expectations.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rosheta will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including death, personal injury, or fraud.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Rosheta from claims arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the Service, or Content you submit.

16. Termination & Account Deletion

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account), via the web deletion form, or by emailing support@rosheta.io. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or unlawful activity, or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 11, 13, 14, 15, and 18) continue to apply.

Account deletion is described in the Privacy Policy and must match the in-app deletion action.

17. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the updated Terms with a revised date, and provide extra notice for material changes. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Egypt, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights.
