Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Rosheta (روشتة) mobile app, website, and related services (together, the “Service”), operated by [Company legal name], [registered company address], Egypt (“Rosheta,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Definitions
“Patient” or “you” means an individual who uses the Service to submit a prescription or medicine list and order medicine.
“Partner Pharmacy” means a licensed pharmacy that has registered on Rosheta to receive prescription requests and submit offers.
“Order” means a specific transaction created when a Patient accepts a Partner Pharmacy's offer.
“Content” means prescriptions, messages, ratings, and any other information a user submits through the Service.
2. Eligibility & Your Account
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service. You sign in using your phone number and a one-time verification code; you are responsible for keeping access to that phone number secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@rosheta.io if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
3. Description of the Service
Rosheta operates a marketplace that connects Patients with Partner Pharmacies. Rosheta is not a pharmacy, does not sell or dispense medicine, does not provide medical advice or diagnosis, and does not employ or supervise pharmacists or Partner Pharmacy staff. Each Partner Pharmacy is an independent, licensed business solely responsible for the medicine it dispenses, the accuracy of its offer, and its compliance with applicable pharmaceutical and health regulations in Egypt.
4. Prescriptions & Medical Disclaimer
The Service is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. You are responsible for ensuring that any prescription or medicine list you submit is accurate, valid, and lawfully issued to you, and for medicines that legally require a prescription, for providing a genuine prescription. Partner Pharmacies are responsible for verifying prescriptions and dispensing medicine in accordance with applicable law and professional standards; Rosheta does not review, approve, or verify the medical content of any prescription. Always consult a licensed physician or pharmacist with questions about your medication, dosage, or health condition, and seek emergency care immediately in a medical emergency — do not rely on the Service for urgent or emergency medical needs.
5. Offers, Orders & Pricing
After you submit a prescription or medicine list, participating nearby Partner Pharmacies may send you competing offers showing the price of the medicine, any proposed substitutions, delivery fee, service fee, and estimated delivery time. Offers are set independently by each Partner Pharmacy and are typically time-limited. By accepting an offer, you enter into an Order with that Partner Pharmacy; Rosheta facilitates the transaction but is not a party to the sale of medicine itself. Prices, availability, and estimated delivery times are provided by the Partner Pharmacy and may change or be unavailable by the time you accept.
6. Payment
Orders are currently paid on a cash-on-delivery basis: you pay the courier the total shown for your Order (medicine cost, delivery fee, and service fee) at the time of delivery. Rosheta does not currently process card or online payments through the app; if that changes, these Terms and the Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly before the feature is introduced.
7. Delivery & Order Tracking
Delivery times shown in an offer are estimates provided by the Partner Pharmacy and are not guaranteed. Once an Order is dispatched, you may be able to view the assigned driver's live location for tracking purposes. You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and being reasonably available to receive the Order; Rosheta and Partner Pharmacies are not liable for delays caused by inaccurate address information, unavailability at the delivery location, traffic, weather, or other circumstances outside their reasonable control.
8. Cancellations & Refunds
You may cancel a prescription request before an offer is accepted. Once you accept an offer, cancellation may still be possible before the Order is dispatched, subject to the Partner Pharmacy's confirmation; because payment is collected on delivery, no refund is due for Orders cancelled before delivery. If you receive medicine that does not match the accepted offer or is defective, contact support@rosheta.io or the in-app support feature promptly so we can help resolve the issue with the Partner Pharmacy, including a refund, replacement, or other remedy where warranted.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: submit a fraudulent, altered, or invalid prescription, or falsely represent that you have a valid prescription for a medicine that requires one; use the Service to obtain controlled or restricted medicines except as lawfully prescribed; impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation; interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems; use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms; or harass, threaten, or abuse Partner Pharmacies, drivers, or Rosheta staff through the in-app chat or support channels. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
10. User Content & Ratings
You are responsible for the Content you submit, including prescription images, chat messages, and ratings/feedback, and you confirm you have the right to submit it. Ratings and feedback should be honest and based on your genuine experience. We may remove Content that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is unlawful, abusive, or harmful, and we may use aggregated, de-identified feedback to improve the Service and to inform Partner Pharmacies of their performance.
11. Intellectual Property
The Rosheta name, logo, app, and website, and all related content, features, and functionality (excluding user-submitted Content) are owned by Rosheta or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.
12. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers, including Firebase (authentication), AWS (secure file storage), mapping services, Sentry (error monitoring), Expo (push notifications), and WhatsApp Business messaging, to operate. Your use of the Service is also subject to the applicable terms of these providers where relevant. We are not responsible for outages or issues caused by third-party providers outside our control.
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any Partner Pharmacy's offer, delivery estimate, or medicine will meet your expectations.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rosheta and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service, including any Order, delivery, or interaction with a Partner Pharmacy or driver. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including in relation to death, personal injury, or fraud.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Rosheta harmless from any claim, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or Content you submit, including any prescription you represent to be valid.
16. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting support@rosheta.io. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or unlawful activity, or if required to comply with applicable law. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 11, 13, 14, 15, and 19) will continue to apply.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service or legal requirements. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised “Last updated” date, and where changes are material, we will provide additional notice (such as an in-app notification) before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Egypt, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under applicable law.
19. Contact Us
